About Refractive AdWatch

Refractive AdWatch is a sponsored service that provides ongoing reviews of refractive surgery advertising and websites from across the United States. It was started by Dewey & Dewey in 1999 as a monthly newsletter and went online in early 2005.

We provide our subscribers with an overview of refractive surgery advertising along with objective reviews by ophthalmology marketing professionals designed to help refractive practices improve their own advertising.

In addition to the new ads and websites reviewed each month, subscribers have access to three months of archived reviews.

With a degree in journalism and more than 20 years of specialized experience in eyecare marketing, advertising and public relations, Les has completed hundreds of writing assignments including ads, newsletters, brochures, press releases and web sites. He has also written numerous healthcare marketing articles for national trade publications and has authored and published two patient education books on eyecare.

He has also been a speaker at numerous meetings of the American Society of Ophthalmic Administrators (ASOA) on topics ranging from public relations to the evaluation of ophthalmology advertising.
